Good news for all Queenslanders!!!
The QLD Government has once again funded the free flu vaccination,
available until 30th Sept 2025.
Queenslander with Medicare
Prior to your flu vaccination, you will be seen by a doctor to assess your health status and to receive consent for the flu vaccination.
GP consultations are bulk-billed for the flu vaccination.
Queenslanders without Medicare
If you do not hold a Medicare card, you can still receive the flu vaccine for free, however you will be billed privately for your consultation with the GP prior to your vaccination.
If you are a part of the National Immunisation Program (NIP), you can get your free flu vaccination at our medical centre.
People eligible for a free influenza vaccination through NIP include:
· All Queenslanders aged over 6 months are now entitled to a
free influenza vaccination.
The influenza vaccination can be received at the same time as a
COVID-19 vaccination dose.
